Guest - Alex Aust, Former National Champion in Lacrosse for the University of Maryland. Currently the Director at Finish Line Lacrosse, Professional Lacrosse Player for the Baltimore Ride, US Lacrosse National Team Member, Under Armour Professional Athlete, Camp Counselor at Elevate Lacrosse, Yoga Enthusiast, and Oreo Connoisseur.
Our second guest of Season 2, Alex Aust, is a well known figure in the lacrosse community at the youth, college, professional and national levels. If you haven't already done so, take a quick look above at her resume because she is no joke ladies and gentleman. It's almost like she was given more hours in the day and days in the week than the rest of us.
If you are an athlete looking to find a way to remain connected to the sport you play, this episode is a MUST LISTEN. Alex gives an in-depth look at what it takes to reach an elite level athletically as a player and then as a coach. Admittedly, she owes a great deal of her success to the sport she played, the mentors she has had and the support she continues to receive from her family on a daily basis. If you've listened to any of our interviews in the past you know that seems to be a reoccurring recipe for success so make sure you listen to how each of those ingredients has impacted Alex along her journey.
As you come to the end of the episode we would like you to ask yourself, "Have I ever eaten an Oreo". Most of you probably have and most of you are probably doing it wrong. Enter Alex.
